Lending

You can borrow various items of equipment from the StuRa. The conditions for doing so are set forth in our borrowing policy. To make a request, please fill out the application form (fillable PDF) in its entirety and email it to ausleihe [at] stura-ilmenau.de. The StuRa’s borrowing coordinators will contact you regarding approval and the amount of the deposit (if applicable).

Notes

• Submit the application at least 2 weeks before the loan. Determining and depositing the security deposit takes time and must be completed before the inventory is handed over.
• Requests submitted after this deadline will only be processed in exceptional cases.
• If the field for the project description is not large enough, please include it in the email you use to submit the application.
• The project description must clearly demonstrate a benefit for students at TU Ilmenau.
• Equipment may also be borrowed by private individuals (provided they meet the requirements of § 2 of the Loan Regulations); in this case, please ignore the “Club/Committee” field on the application.
